The documentary was skillfully made in order to
achieve both sides of the story. That of which is Imelda, and the people
surrounding her. It also goes to show that Imelda is oblivious to her
economically challenged (former)
constituents. Her lifestyle of opulence still continues to this day, and it
also gives light to the former first lady. That even though she made sure that
when Marcos was running, she was also there to ensure that she should also have
some of the limelight. Imelda is still famous, despite the atrocities (proven
or not) that she has committed, which still makes it a mystery. That her charm
can still permeate through the masses.
